13 months in and fatigue is still the thing I get wrong

Side Effects Cold Box ×1 Sourced ×2 Well Actually ×2

Confession thread, sort of.

I went from 5mg to 1.7mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 16 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.

So now I have early fullness I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.

Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 41 reads it before doing the same thing.

How many weeks in are you? 23 weeks is noise, 36 weeks is a trend.

Disagree on that part. 97.4% and 98.3% on the same vial is normal.

Same experience. Week 15 and it simply stopped. I know that is not useful information but it is what happened.

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

Slight fix: the number was 99.3, not 93.7. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

sulphur burps are disgusting but not dangerous, 22 weeks and they stopped

Yeah, the muscle cramps hit on day 4 for me too, not day 1.

Yeah, the fatigue hit on day 9 for me too, not day 1.

How many weeks in are you? 5 weeks is noise, 27 weeks is a trend.

Went to A&E convinced it was pancreatitis. Lipase normal. It was gallstones. Get checked, do not post and wait.

This is correct. The nausea is horrible for three weeks and then just ends.

About c/sideeffects

Side-effect experience and management, with a strong bias toward the ones that are common and boring (nausea, constipation, reflux, fatigue, sulphur burps) and a hard line on the ones that are not (severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, vision changes). This community is not a substitute for urgent care and the mods will say so bluntly.

  1. Severe or escalating abdominal pain is an urgent-care question, not a forum question. We will lock those threads with a pointer to help.
  2. Describe your dose, your week number and your titration speed — otherwise nobody can help.
  3. No diagnosing strangers. Share what happened to you.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
