anyone else notice discontinuation kicking in around week 29

Trial Databranch of 9 comments

Right, the tapering question again, but with numbers this time. I have 20 data points over 4 weeks. Came off after 43 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

About c/tapering

Stopping on purpose: dose reduction versus interval stretching, what the discontinuation arms of STEP 1 and SURMOUNT-4 actually showed about regain, appetite return timelines, and the people who came off, regained, and went back on without treating it as a failure.

c/tapering rules
  1. Cite the discontinuation data rather than guessing at regain rates.
  2. No shaming people who restart.
  3. Say how long you were on and at what dose before you tapered.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
