am I the only one who found GIP harder than the injections

Trial Databranch of 13 comments

Week 79 update. 40kg down from the start, muscle cramps basically gone since about week 24. Things that worked: consistency, protein at breakfast, walking more than I want to. Things that did not: everything I bought on the internet to help with muscle cramps. The part that surprised me is how much of this is admin.…

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

nope, the equivalence to semaglutide is not known, comparing 15mg tirz to 2.4mg sema is guessing

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 70 weeks to accept.

Switched from sema at 10mg to tirz at 12.5mg. Different drugs, cannot compare the doses directly.

The SURMOUNT readouts are real but less consistent than STEP. Some people plateau earlier on tirz.

Week 75 on Mounjaro and 24kg down. The appetite reduction feels different from sema in ways I do not have words for yet.

About c/tirzepatide

Tirzepatide-specific discussion: the dual-agonist pharmacology, the 2.5 → 15mg ladder, the appetite profile people describe as different from semaglutide, and the SURMOUNT/SURPASS trial programme. Comparisons with semaglutide are welcome as long as they are specific about dose equivalence being unknown.

c/tirzepatide rules
  1. "Tirz is better than sema" needs a comparator dose or it is a vibe, not a claim.
  2. Vial-splitting and self-compounding discussion stays in c/reconstitution.
  3. No pen-cracking tutorials. Discussing that people do it is fine; instructions are not.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
