comment on baseline labs — 12 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/bloodwork · 15 points · 2 months ago

My eGFR went from 5 to 4 in 11 weeks.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 62 weeks to accept.

post reference ranges with your numbers, units differ by country and lab

eGFR from 14 to 4 is movement, not noise

comment on help me understand glucagon, I have read the wiki twice in c/retatrutide · 120 points · 3 months ago

the glucagon component changes the side effect profile, not just the efficacy Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose.

Disagree on that part. 98.7% and 95.1% on the same vial is normal.

comment on 14 months in and dose escalation is still the thing I get wrong in c/retatrutide · 1 points · 3 months ago

Yeah, phase 2 retatrutide is interesting but it is not comparable to phase 3 compounds.

Strongly agree. Escrow is non-negotiable for groups.

multiple batches from QYB show a spread, that is the data

comment on my hs-CRP moved and I cannot work out whether network is why in c/cryptopay · 10 points · 4 months ago

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

comment on anyone else notice Medutest kicking in around week 30 in c/labresults · 13 points · 4 months ago

Slight fix: the number was 98.9, not 99.0. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

Crossposting this to c/cagrilintide because the people who need it are not reading this community.

The research community is small on cagrilintide. Forum lore changes faster than data.

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about USDC in c/cryptopay · 18 points · 5 months ago

Yeah, the network selection matters most.

copay is separate from coverage

comment on [Results] 42 weeks, 16kg, and below spec was the hard part in c/labresults · 77 points · 5 months ago

My VendorInvestigate result matched the vendor COA exactly, which is rare. SGN deserves that note in the directory.

comment on does A1c actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/bloodwork · 106 points · 5 months ago

Disagree.

Adding to this: ApoB is doing more work than the comment implies.

comment on batch vs test results — genuinely asking which matters more in c/labresults · 93 points · 5 months ago

Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

network selection matters, wrong chain is the expensive typo

Maintenance for 2 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.
