comment on [Discussion] glucagon is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/survodutide · -25 points · 29 days ago

Strongly agree.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

phase 13 data is interesting, phase 14 will be different

The thing nobody prepared me for was the quiet. Not the appetite, the quiet. The constant negotiation in my head about food just stopped.

triglycerides from 14 to 3 is movement, not noise

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

This is correct. Do not generalise from tirzepatide.

Small correction: the trial was 23 weeks, not 22. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Yeah, baseline matters more than any later number.

Strongly agree. ALT is where you catch the liver story early.

This is correct. ApoB is the better marker.

HOMA-IR is crude but free and useful for tracking

comment on survodutide vs glucagon — genuinely asking which matters more in c/survodutide · 7 points · 8 months ago

The early fullness was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. I know that is not useful information, but it is what happened.

comment on anyone else notice dual agonist kicking in around week 80 in c/survodutide · 1 points · 11 months ago

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.

nobody here can tell you what a result means for you

Yeah, baseline matters more than any later number.

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.
