Yeah, the PeptideMeter number matching the claim is the actual signal.

Is that purity or net peptide content? They are not the same number.

comment on someone explain semaglutide to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 4 months ago

This matches my experience almost exactly on the Ozempic pens. The titration is the whole point.

My early fullness was worst at 1.0mg and better at 0.5mg, which makes no sense and I have stopped trying to explain it.

Small correction: the trial was 12 weeks, not 16. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

This is correct. PCOS is real.

comment on genuine question about perimenopause that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/glp1women · -32 points · 5 months ago

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 49 weeks to accept.

comment on [Question] Ireland — has anyone got a straight answer on weekly update in c/dosinglogs · -3 points · 6 months ago

Not to be pedantic but log and tracking are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

comment on PCOS — my 11-week log, condensed into one table in c/glp1women · 42 points · 6 months ago

the trials mostly studied men, perimenopause skipped

comment on why does nobody talk about regain in c/tapering · 202 points · 6 months ago

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 5–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

comment on ranking: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/meta · 1 points · 6 months ago

Not to be pedantic but disclosure and meta are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

week 79 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder

comment on weekly dosing is the most under-discussed thing in c/labresults in c/semaglutide · 118 points · 8 months ago

Right, and the corollary is that stopping escalation does not reset your tolerance, it just pauses the clock.
