Small portions, high protein, cooked in advance. Appetite suppression makes cooking hard.

comment on the scale "stalled" for two months but my DEXA says otherwise, recomp is a stall in disguise in c/glp1muscle · 31 points · 2 days ago

curious what that actually looked like day to day, hitting 1.6g/kg with a suppressed appetite is genuinely hard logistically

which is why i cook in advance and eat the protein first. appetite suppression makes cooking hard and cooking badly makes protein targets impossible.

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

This is an urgent-care question wearing a forum question's clothes.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

Yeah, rodent data does not scale to humans.

Small correction: the trial was 9 weeks, not 38. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 26 weeks to accept.

Came off after 89 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.
