comment on what would you tell week-1 you about titration in c/semaglutide · 33 points · 6 months ago

Hard agree.

Adding to this: food noise is doing more work than the comment implies.

The practical rule people converge on is 28 days at fridge temperature after first puncture, and that comes from the preservative, not the peptide.

This is evidence. The metadata is checkable and it is odd.

comment on [Discussion] food noise is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/semaglutide · 259 points · 10 months ago

Hard agree. Week 16 me needed this. Week 59 me is nodding smugly.

comment on genuine question about tapering that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/tapering · 45 points · 11 months ago

This is correct. Discontinuation data is real.

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

Is that purity or net peptide content? They are not the same number.

comment on [Results] 67 weeks, 36kg, and plateau was the hard part in c/semaglutide · 202 points · 1 year ago

the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to

comment on 14 months in and fake COA is still the thing I get wrong in c/scamalerts · 140 points · 1 year ago

Which order and did you have any communication from GGPeps?

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 94 weeks to accept.

Small correction: the trial was 11 weeks, not 4. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

What was the method? "HPLC" is a technique, not a method.

permalink

comment on anyone else notice discontinuation kicking in around week 29 in c/tapering · 465 points · 1 year ago

Slight fix: the number was 97.6, not 95.1. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

stalled at 1.7mg, went up, and regretted it, the stall would have broken anyway

pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price
