Something I noticed reading old threads that I have not seen said out loud.
The advice on batch in this community changed substantially around the start of last year, and nobody went back and updated the older posts. So depending on which thread the search engine hands you, you get two contradictory answers with the same confidence.
I have listed what I think the current consensus is below. Correct me — that is the point of posting it.

PDF metadata is checkable in fifteen seconds
Water content was 3.8%, acetate was 6.2%, purity was 99%, but net peptide was only 90% of the label weight. Perfectly honest, just chemistry.

Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with batch, not with what you concluded.

Strongly agree. Mass% and area% are answering different questions on the same document.
The COA I was holding said 96.8% area and I thought it was trash. Turns out the method was solid and the impurity profile was clean.

Disagree on that part. 98.7% and 98.3% on the same vial is normal.
Are you looking at area% or net peptide content? Different numbers.

area% is not mass%, and here is exactly why it matters
Small correction: the trial was 15 weeks, not 25. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
