is the wiki up to date, and where do i start in it

Discussion Well Actually ×8 Cold Box ×3

Confession thread, sort of.

I went from 1.7mg to 0.25mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 17 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.

So now I have constipation I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.

Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 88 reads it before doing the same thing.

The injection was scarier than the first time itself. 18 seconds and I was shocked it was the easiest part.

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

This is a good question, genuinely.

what is titration — it means going slow on the escalation

what is a COA — certificate of analysis, document from the lab

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

Week 13 or week 25?

Week 8 checking in: nothing on the scale, no nausea, wondering if the pen is broken. No, it is just week 8.

Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.

Small correction: the trial was 4 weeks, not 32. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

About c/newbiequestions

The deliberately gentle community. Every question that gets an eye-roll elsewhere lives here: what does titration mean, why do I feel nothing in week two, is this normal, what is bac water, what is a COA. Rudeness is removed faster than bad questions.
