[Question] the UK — has anyone got a straight answer on ATTAIN
Been lurking in c/t2dglp1 for about 5 months and finally have something worth posting.
Short version: week 85, 2.5mg, and ATTAIN is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 31 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.
What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 79.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Three years on this site and the questions have not changed at all. Which is depressing or reassuring depending on the day.
Strongly agree. The supply impact would be huge.
the small molecule is whether this actually works long-term
The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

small molecule, not a peptide, purity discussion is different
Has anyone actually got this in writing, or is it forum lore at this point?
Yeah, small molecule changes the whole game.
the orforglipron is whether this actually works long-term
phase 4 data is interesting, phase 38 will tell the real story
Australia here. Waited 18 months on a list, gave up, went private, and the total cost was roughly what I expected.
Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 16–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.
Strongly agree. The supply impact would be huge.
the nausea profile is speculative at this stage
the supply conversation changes if this approves
That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.
small molecule, not a peptide, purity discussion is different
small molecule, not a peptide, purity discussion is different
Adding to this: ATTAIN is doing more work than the comment implies.
