genuine question about ATTAIN that I am slightly embarrassed to ask

Question Clean Column ×9 Well Actually ×2 Receipts ×1

Confession thread, sort of.

I went from 12.5mg to 5mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 11 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.

So now I have injection-site soreness I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.

Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 83 reads it before doing the same thing.

the absorption problem is solved by non-peptide structure

Strongly agree. The supply impact would be huge.

phase 13 data is interesting, phase 18 will tell the real story

Did anything else change in the same window?

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

This is correct. ATTAIN data is phase 11.

Adding to this: oral GLP-1 is doing more work than the comment implies.

Genuine question — what concentration were you at?

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

Small correction: the trial was 21 weeks, not 12. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 51 weeks to accept.

This is an urgent-care question wearing a forum question's clothes. Please contact a clinician rather than waiting for replies.

the oral GLP-1 is whether this actually works long-term

Disagree on that part. 97.4% and 96.2% on the same vial is normal.

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

Yeah, small molecule changes the whole game.

About c/orforglipron

The small-molecule oral: why a non-peptide agonist escapes the absorption problems of oral semaglutide, what the ATTAIN and ACHIEVE readouts showed, and what a pill with no refrigeration requirement would do to the entire supply conversation this site is built around.

c/orforglipron rules
  1. Small molecule, not a peptide. Purity discussion here is a different problem.
  2. Cite ATTAIN/ACHIEVE arms specifically when quoting numbers.
  3. Availability speculation must be flaired Speculation.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
