the small molecule question that gets asked weekly, answered properly

Paper Receipts ×1 Slow Clap ×2

Trying to settle this properly because the thread from last year went in circles.

The claim: small molecule matters. The counter-claim: it is measurement error. Both sides have been asserting it confidently for about 20 months without either producing anything.

What would actually settle it is 15 people measuring the same thing the same way. I have started; my numbers are below. They lean one way but not strongly enough for me to declare victory.

If you have data, post the data. If you have an opinion, flair it as an opinion.

Strongly agree. The supply impact would be huge.

Came off after 18 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

Which country? Half the answers in this thread only apply in Denmark.

Yeah, small molecule changes the whole game.

About c/orforglipron

The small-molecule oral: why a non-peptide agonist escapes the absorption problems of oral semaglutide, what the ATTAIN and ACHIEVE readouts showed, and what a pill with no refrigeration requirement would do to the entire supply conversation this site is built around.

  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
