[Meta] proposal — a flair for phase 2 posts
Genuinely asking, not being difficult.
Everyone in c/glp1uk repeats that dose escalation is important. I believe it, but I have never seen anyone show why, and when I search I get 6 threads of people agreeing with each other.
Is there a paper? Is there a measurement? Or is this one of those things that is true because it has been repeated since 2023?
I am not trying to be the "source?" guy. I would just like a source.
best — the order this archive was captured in
the dosing is steep, the injection-site soreness reports are real, and nobody knows the human safety yet

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
TRIUMPH phase 2 showed 98.9% weight loss but the sulphur burps profile on the highest arm was rough. Phase 2 != phase 3.
heart rate and dose escalation need actual measurements, not impressions
Yeah, phase 2 retatrutide is interesting but it is not comparable to phase 3 compounds.
This is correct. Triple agonism is genuinely different.
This is an urgent-care question wearing a forum question's clothes. Please contact a clinician rather than waiting for replies.
Yeah, phase 2 retatrutide is interesting but it is not comparable to phase 3 compounds.
phase 2 numbers are not maintenance numbers, cite the trial
TRIUMPH phase 2 showed 97.4% weight loss but the injection-site soreness profile on the highest arm was rough. Phase 2 != phase 3.
I am going to push back on this slightly.
retatrutide is not approved anywhere for human use, posts must not read as instructions
heart rate and dose escalation need actual measurements, not impressions
the weight curves are unusually steep, which makes predicting individual response harder
nobody should be giving this to anyone without extensive monitoring
Are you quoting phase 2 or is there phase 3 data now?
heart rate and dose escalation need actual measurements, not impressions
Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.
