stalled for 8 weeks at 2.4mg and I refuse to panic this time

Question Receipts ×1 Sourced ×2 Cold Box ×2

Genuinely asking, not being difficult.

Everyone in c/darkspot repeats that heart rate is important. I believe it, but I have never seen anyone show why, and when I search I get 2 threads of people agreeing with each other.

Is there a paper? Is there a measurement? Or is this one of those things that is true because it has been repeated since 2023?

I am not trying to be the "source?" guy. I would just like a source.

Yeah, the reflux hit on day 23 for me too, not day 1.

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

Same experience. Week 58 and it simply stopped. I know that is not useful information but it is what happened.

My fatigue was worst at 0.25mg and better at 15mg, which makes no sense but it is real.

Strongly agree. Describe your dose, your week number, and your titration speed or nobody can help.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with reflux, not with what you concluded.

Resting heart rate up 18 bpm from baseline, settled back down once I stopped escalating. Tracked daily so I am confident.

Has anything else changed? Sleep, food, protein, anything?

IANAD and neither is anyone upvoting this

My muscle cramps was worst at 0.5mg and better at 12.5mg, which makes no sense but it is real.

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.

nausea on day 2 is normal, nausea after week 49 is worth checking

u/marta_marchand1 point·1 year ago

Did the constipation start before or after the dose increase?

hair loss is real and usually reversible when you stabilize

resting heart rate moved up 21 bpm and settled back down when I stopped escalating

The muscle cramps passes. I kept a log and the timeline was the only useful thing. 17 weeks and it was basically gone.

Yeah, the injection-site soreness hit on day 22 for me too, not day 1.

About c/sideeffects

Side-effect experience and management, with a strong bias toward the ones that are common and boring (nausea, constipation, reflux, fatigue, sulphur burps) and a hard line on the ones that are not (severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, vision changes). This community is not a substitute for urgent care and the mods will say so bluntly.
