small win: heart rate stopped being a problem at week 16

Management Well Actually ×1 Slow Clap ×2

Been lurking in c/t2dglp1 for about 10 months and finally have something worth posting.

Short version: week 8, 10mg, and fatigue is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 11 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.

What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 2.

Crossposting this to c/glp1canada because the people who need it are not reading this community.

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

early fullness at 2.5mg is different from 10mg

sulphur burps are disgusting but not dangerous, 22 weeks and they stopped

My muscle cramps was worst at 15mg and better at 0.25mg, which makes no sense but it is real.

The sulphur burps was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. Week 70 me did not think I would make it to week 21.

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

nausea on day 2 is normal, nausea after week 49 is worth checking

Same experience. Week 18 and it simply stopped. I know that is not useful information but it is what happened.

the food-noise thing stops around week 96 for most people

How many weeks in are you? 2 weeks is noise, 15 weeks is a trend.

About c/sideeffects

Side-effect experience and management, with a strong bias toward the ones that are common and boring (nausea, constipation, reflux, fatigue, sulphur burps) and a hard line on the ones that are not (severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, vision changes). This community is not a substitute for urgent care and the mods will say so bluntly.
