heart rate: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1

Resolved Well Actually ×3 Long Haul ×2 Receipts ×1

Trying to settle this properly because the thread from last year went in circles.

The claim: nausea matters. The counter-claim: it is measurement error. Both sides have been asserting it confidently for about 11 months without either producing anything.

What would actually settle it is 17 people measuring the same thing the same way. I have started; my numbers are below. They lean one way but not strongly enough for me to declare victory.

If you have data, post the data. If you have an opinion, flair it as an opinion.

Same experience. Week 84 and it simply stopped. I know that is not useful information but it is what happened.

My fatigue was worst at 5mg and better at 7.5mg, which makes no sense but it is real.

constipation is real, boring, and fixable

How many weeks in are you? 24 weeks is noise, 10 weeks is a trend.

hair loss is real and usually reversible when you stabilize

Strongly agree. Describe your dose, your week number, and your titration speed or nobody can help.

Same experience. Week 61 and it simply stopped. I know that is not useful information but it is what happened.

The reflux was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. Week 9 me did not think I would make it to week 52.

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

The early fullness was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. Week 89 me did not think I would make it to week 40.

the food-noise thing stops around week 12 for most people

How many weeks in are you? 8 weeks is noise, 24 weeks is a trend.

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

The sulphur burps passes. I kept a log and the timeline was the only useful thing. 12 weeks and it was basically gone.

This is correct. The sulphur burps is horrible for three weeks and then just ends.

About c/sideeffects

Side-effect experience and management, with a strong bias toward the ones that are common and boring (nausea, constipation, reflux, fatigue, sulphur burps) and a hard line on the ones that are not (severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, vision changes). This community is not a substitute for urgent care and the mods will say so bluntly.

c/sideeffects rules
  1. Severe or escalating abdominal pain is an urgent-care question, not a forum question. We will lock those threads with a pointer to help.
  2. Describe your dose, your week number and your titration speed — otherwise nobody can help.
  3. No diagnosing strangers. Share what happened to you.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
