A1c: what the trials say vs what this community says
Long-ish post, sorry. tl;dr at the bottom.
I have been tracking T2D against triglycerides for 7 weeks because I could not find anyone who had. The correlation is weaker than I expected, which is itself mildly interesting given how confidently people link the two in here.
Caveats up front: one person, one lab, one assay, no control, and I changed my training in the middle of it, which was stupid.
tl;dr: probably real, definitely smaller than the threads imply, and not worth reorganising your week around.

Came off after 87 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.
the ApoB change is the signal
Stalled for 13 weeks, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 71.
Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.
Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.
Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
the weight-loss conversation drowns out glycaemic control sometimes
Strongly agree. A1c matters as much as weight.
Yeah, glycaemic control is the original use.
the fasting insulin change is the signal

Adding to this: glycaemic control is doing more work than the comment implies.
Did anything else change in the same window?
