why is nobody talking about the SURPASS-CVOT readout

Lab Clean Column ×6 Long Haul ×2

Right, the SURPASS question again, but with numbers this time.

I have 22 data points over 36 weeks. The pattern is consistent enough that I do not think it is chance, and boring enough that nobody is going to screenshot it, which is usually a good sign.

The thing I would flag for anyone new: the effect I am describing showed up at week 21, not week 70. People give up long before the interesting part.

Interested in whether this matches other people's logs or whether I am an outlier.

Did the fatigue feel the same as on tirz or genuinely different?

dual agonism is 15mg, do not generalise from semaglutide

the appetite change on tirz is more than just reduced hunger, it is different machinery

SURMOUNT data is messier than STEP data but the weight loss is there

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

This is an urgent-care question wearing a forum question's clothes. Please contact a clinician rather than waiting for replies.

the GIP side does different things than the GLP-1 side, that is the point

The SURMOUNT readouts are real but less consistent than STEP. Some people plateau earlier on tirz.

My TSH moved faster on tirz than on sema at the same timepoint, which matches what people report.

Vial-splitting is on-topic here. Do not ask about pen-cracking, that goes in c/reconstitution.

Hard agree. The food noise disappears differently on the two compounds.

How long at each step before you escalated?

week 51 on Mounjaro and the appetite profile is genuinely different from sema

the early fullness from tirz is different, not necessarily worse

Did you stay on semaglutide or switch? The outcome is different if you are comparing.

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

About c/tirzepatide

Tirzepatide-specific discussion: the dual-agonist pharmacology, the 2.5 → 15mg ladder, the appetite profile people describe as different from semaglutide, and the SURMOUNT/SURPASS trial programme. Comparisons with semaglutide are welcome as long as they are specific about dose equivalence being unknown.
