comment on [PSA] write the concentration on the vial. that is the whole post. in c/semaglutide · 0 points · 8 months ago

week 62 on the pen, 5kg down, this is the answer

comment on is it normal to get injection-site soreness at week 54 in c/glp1canada · 50 points · 9 months ago

My version of this: I was so worried about the injection that I put it off for eleven days. The injection is the easiest part.

The sulphur burps was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. I know that is not useful information, but it is what happened.

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

resting heart rate moved up 3 bpm and settled back down when I stopped escalating

IANAD and neither is anyone upvoting this

Adding to this: fatigue is doing more work than the comment implies.

nope, 0.25 counts, it is just not the dose most people stay on

Disagree on that part. 99.0% and 98.9% on the same vial is normal.

comment on fatigue: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/sideeffects · 35 points · 11 months ago

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 2–5.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Right, and the corollary is that stopping escalation does not reset your tolerance, it just pauses the clock.

pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price

You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.

severe abdominal pain is an urgent-care question, not a forum question

comment on [Discussion] private plan is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1canada · 3 points · 1 year ago

private plans vary by employer

Disagree on that part. 98.1% and 98.3% on the same vial is normal.
