comment on weekly dosing: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/semaglutide · 72 points · 1 year ago
Strongly agree. If it is not working at 5mg after 80 weeks, going up is not automatically the answer.
comment on anyone else notice 2.4mg kicking in around week 20 in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 1 year ago
Kept a public log for 16 weeks. The comments are what kept it going, honestly. Accountability from strangers works.
comment on reflux — my 12-week log, condensed into one table in c/sideeffects · 218 points · 1 year ago
This is correct. The injection-site soreness is horrible for three weeks and then just ends.
comment on [Results] 16 weeks on 15mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 1 year ago
Hard agree. Week 69 me needed this. Week 23 me is nodding smugly.
comment on eGFR — my 8-week log, condensed into one table in c/bloodwork · 27 points · 1 year ago
Baseline TSH: 98.9. Week 63: 99.1. Same lab, fasted, same time of day. Trend matters.
comment on [Results] 67 weeks, 36kg, and plateau was the hard part in c/semaglutide · 660 points · 1 year ago
Week 49 for me and the honest summary is: 35kg down, fatigue manageable, and the quiet happened around week 18.
comment on what changed for me between week 10 and week 53 in c/semaglutide · 66 points · 1 year ago
My version: I was so worried about the injection that I put it off for eleven days. The injection is the easiest part. Nobody believes that until they do it.
comment on heart rate — 6 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/sideeffects · 89 points · 1 year ago
sulphur burps are disgusting but not dangerous, 14 weeks and they stopped
comment on week 61 check-in — 46kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/bloodwork · 39 points · 1 year ago
ApoB over LDL-C, that is the hierarchy
comment on unpopular opinion: semaglutide is massively overrated in c/semaglutide · 10 points · 1 year ago
I am going to push back on this slightly.
comment on the ALT thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/bloodwork · 10 points · 1 year ago
redact identifying details from lab PDFs before posting
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about plateau until somebody posts a number in c/semaglutide · 307 points · 1 year ago
Did you test the vial you received or are we going off the vendor COA?
comment on [PSA] heart rate is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/sideeffects · 352 points · 1 year ago
sulphur burps are disgusting but not dangerous, 17 weeks and they stopped
comment on nobody warned me about constipation and I would have liked the warning in c/semaglutide · 224 points · 1 year ago
My early fullness was worst at 1.0mg and better at 1.7mg, which makes no sense and I have stopped trying to explain it.
comment on switched from 2.5mg to 2.4mg and the reflux got better, not worse in c/bloodwork · 20 points · 1 year ago
eGFR noise during rapid loss is expected
comment on the private plan question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/glp1canada · 234 points · 1 year ago
special authorisation is province-specific
comment on small win: fatigue stopped being a problem at week 6 in c/sideeffects · 15 points · 2 years ago
early fullness at 10mg is different from 12.5mg
comment on small win: fatigue stopped being a problem at week 6 in c/sideeffects · 150 points · 2 years ago
Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.
comment on [Vendor] QST order #19 — Spain, 29 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/bloodwork · 13 points · 2 years ago
ApoB from 7 to 7 is movement, not noise
comment on [Vendor] QST order #19 — Spain, 29 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/bloodwork · 146 points · 2 years ago
Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.
