comment on [Method] the gradient everyone uses for sema and why it under-resolves the des-amido in c/hplc · -38 points · 3 days ago
Injection volume and flow rate? Those affect resolution.
comment on week two, nothing is happening, everyone says that is normal, is it in c/newbiequestions · 17 points · 5 days ago
Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.
comment on peak at 4.2 min, nobody can tell me what it is, ideas in c/hplc · 7 points · 5 days ago
You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.

comment on how do i know if my dose is working in c/newbiequestions · 20 points · 12 days ago
Slight fix: the number was 96.8, not 98.4. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
comment on [Titration] 12 weeks per step is not too slow, it is just unfashionable in c/tirzepatide · 164 points · 14 days ago
The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.
comment on SURMOUNT-1 was -20.9% at 72 weeks. that is the number, not -30% in c/tirzepatide · 63 points · 15 days ago
Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

Injection volume and flow rate? Those affect resolution.
comment on why do people talk about units and mg like they are different things in c/newbiequestions · 22 points · 29 days ago
week two nothing happening — yes, that is normal
comment on small win: satiety stopped being a problem at week 75 in c/cagrilintide · 4 points · 1 months ago
Yeah, amylin is doing different work than GLP-1.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify amylin in c/cagrilintide · 36 points · 1 months ago
The satiety on amylin analogs is described as physically different. GLP-1 reduces appetite noise, amylin does CagriSema.
comment on does gradient actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/hplc · 57 points · 1 months ago
chromatogram or it did not happen
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about SURMOUNT until somebody posts a number in c/tirzepatide · 53 points · 1 months ago
I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.

the appetite change on tirz is more than just reduced hunger, it is different machinery
