comment on copay is the most under-discussed thing in c/labresults in c/insurancefights · 11 points · 1 year ago
Copay was step therapy for the copay then another 2% of the total.
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
comment on [Results] 32 weeks, 45kg, and regain was the hard part in c/tapering · 4 points · 1 year ago
Not to be pedantic but discontinuation and tapering are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 39 weeks to accept.
comment on [Lab] split one vial across Medutest and Janoshik — 96.2% and 99.2% in c/retatrutide · 40 points · 1 year ago
research use only, handling and analysis, not protocols
comment on tried interval stretching for 5 weeks. here is what happened. in c/tapering · 2 points · 1 year ago
Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.
comment on [Results] 16 weeks on 15mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 1 year ago
Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.
comment on [Results] 37 weeks, 16kg, and phase 2 was the hard part in c/retatrutide · 1 points · 1 year ago
Mechanistically the bit that matters is retatrutide. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.
comment on protein: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/glp1muscle · 62 points · 1 year ago
protein targets in g/kg
comment on tapering vs regain — genuinely asking which matters more in c/tapering · 1 points · 1 year ago
the regain is treatment of chronic condition ending, not failure
comment on tapering vs regain — genuinely asking which matters more in c/tapering · 23 points · 1 year ago
Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.
comment on prior authorization — 9 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/insurancefights · 72 points · 1 year ago
comment on tried USDC for 5 weeks. here is what happened. in c/cryptopay · 71 points · 1 year ago
no group-buy recruitment, discussing how they fail is fine
comment on genuine question about New Zealand that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/glp1aus · 1 points · 1 year ago
New Zealand is different on the two sides
comment on genuine question about New Zealand that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/glp1aus · -15 points · 1 year ago
AU or NZ?
comment on three years of Ozempic threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/semaglutide · 305 points · 1 year ago
Strongly agree. If it is not working at 12.5mg after 96 weeks, going up is not automatically the answer.
comment on switched from 2.5mg to 10mg and the early fullness got better, not worse in c/retatrutide · 336 points · 1 year ago
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about plateau until somebody posts a number in c/semaglutide · 1.1k points · 1 year ago
Went up because the scale stalled, not because I needed to. Do not be me. The stall broke on its own at the higher dose.
comment on [Meta] the Australia rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/glp1aus · 6 points · 1 year ago
TGA shortage notices are temporary
comment on what changed for me between week 90 and week 38 in c/semaglutide · 25 points · 1 year ago
okay but what dose of sema are you on
comment on [Results] 2 weeks, 11kg, and glucagon was the hard part in c/retatrutide · 7 points · 1 year ago
the 1.7mg arm is different from 1.0mg, results do not transfer
comment on anyone else notice Wegovy kicking in around week 39 in c/semaglutide · 150 points · 1 year ago
the sulphur burps passes. i promise. not medical advice.
