Posting this because I searched for it and got nothing useful. Setup: 1.7mg, week 28, injection-site soreness present but not ruining anything. I changed exactly one…

Delayed gastric emptying explains most of the GI story and half the satiety story.

Slight fix: the number was 97.6, not 97.4. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

the 21-day half-life means week 21 is still ramp-up pharmacokinetically

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

Yeah, the batch number across three vendors is a real signal.

Not to be pedantic but milestone and progress are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

Week 74 for me and the honest summary is: 40kg down, muscle cramps manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.

Yeah, text-only removes the comparison.
Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 96 weeks to accept.

Strongly agree. Pricing is local.

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

PDF metadata is checkable in fifteen seconds
comment on [Question] water content — what am I missing here in c/coa · 157 points · 1 year ago
Yeah, 96.8% area is not the problem, the missing impurity breakdown is the problem.

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

SURMOUNT-4 discontinuation arm showed regain. That is the reality of a chronic disease treatment, not a failure.

do not extrapolate rodent data to human dosing without saying so
comment on my TSH moved and I cannot work out whether receptor is why in c/glp1science · 3 points · 1 year ago
The half-life is 14 hours, which means week 14 is genuinely still ramp-up. Week 31 is steady state.

The half-life is 7 hours, which means week 7 is genuinely still ramp-up. Week 16 is steady state.

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about endpoint until somebody posts a number in c/trialwatch · 101 points · 1 year ago
Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 18–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.
