comment on [Meta] the endpoint rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/trialwatch · 1 points · 1 months ago

Is that absolute or relative risk reduction?

Small correction: the trial was 7 weeks, not 38. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

early fullness at 0.5mg is different from 12.5mg

Maintenance for 16 months now. 2.4mg every 36 days, weight 23±16kg. Found the rhythm.

Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule

The plateau is real and boring. 79 weeks at the same weight, then movement again. Patience was the intervention.

hair loss is real and usually reversible when you stabilize

comment on why does nobody talk about Ozempic in c/semaglutide · 6 points · 2 months ago

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

comment on help me understand FLOW, I have read the wiki twice in c/trialwatch · 6 points · 2 months ago

the 18 week readout is different from the 6 week readout

Disagree on that part. 97.9% and 97.6% on the same vial is normal.

Yeah, the early fullness hit on day 18 for me too, not day 1.

comment on [Lab] 17th independent test on QSC, and the trend is the interesting part in c/retatrutide · 55 points · 3 months ago

The heart rate signal in TRIUMPH is real and concerning. Higher doses had higher mean HR changes.

comment on endpoint — my 2-week log, condensed into one table in c/trialwatch · 5 points · 3 months ago

absolute risk reduction, not relative risk reduction, that is how you decide

permalink

comment on [Results] 22 weeks, 45kg, and maintenance was the hard part in c/maintenancephase · 26 points · 3 months ago

weight moves within 2kg and that is normal

Adding to this: lowest effective dose is doing more work than the comment implies.

week 54 and the nausea is finally getting better

How many weeks in are you? 16 weeks is noise, 4 weeks is a trend.

comment on help me understand regain, I have read the wiki twice in c/maintenancephase · 28 points · 3 months ago

Maintenance for 10 months now. 5mg every 28 days, weight 10±10kg. Found the rhythm.

comment on [Discussion] the 2.4mg advice in here is 10 years out of date in c/semaglutide · -1 points · 4 months ago

This matches my experience almost exactly on the Ozempic pens. The titration is the whole point.

comment on [PSA] fatigue is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/sideeffects · -10 points · 4 months ago

resting heart rate moved up 10 bpm and settled back down when I stopped escalating

Yeah, the constipation hit on day 21 for me too, not day 1.
