comment on anyone else notice endpoint kicking in around week 19 in c/trialwatch · 42 points · 4 months ago
the discontinuation arms are the interesting part, not the SURPASS endpoints
comment on anyone else notice endpoint kicking in around week 19 in c/trialwatch · 101 points · 4 months ago
Crossposting this to c/glp1muscle because the people who need it are not reading this community.
comment on [Meta] the STEP rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/trialwatch · 29 points · 5 months ago
This is correct. Discontinuation arms show the regain reality.
comment on someone explain hair loss to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/sideeffects · 40 points · 5 months ago

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
comment on [Lab] 14th independent test on QSC, and the trend is the interesting part in c/retatrutide · 277 points · 5 months ago
Which trial arm and what was the n?
comment on goal weight is the most under-discussed thing in c/coldchain in c/maintenancephase · 123 points · 6 months ago
regain after taper is expected, plan for it
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about titration in c/semaglutide · -21 points · 6 months ago
The thing nobody prepared me for was that the appetite does not come back for a long time after you stop.
comment on genuine question about Ozempic that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/semaglutide · 228 points · 7 months ago
What was the method?
Disagree on that part. 99.3% and 93.7% on the same vial is normal.
comment on [Meta] the nausea rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/sideeffects · 14 points · 8 months ago
nausea on day 2 is normal, nausea after week 80 is worth checking
comment on retatrutide vs triple agonist — genuinely asking which matters more in c/retatrutide · 1 points · 8 months ago
triple agonism is phase 2, do not generalise
comment on [Results] 81 weeks on 12.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/trialwatch · 101 points · 9 months ago
This is correct. Discontinuation arms show the regain reality.
comment on is it normal to get fatigue at week 90 in c/retatrutide · 838 points · 9 months ago
Strongly agree. Heart rate escalation needs the actual data, not impressions.
comment on goal weight — 17 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/maintenancephase · 27 points · 10 months ago
Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.
comment on [Question] Sweden — has anyone got a straight answer on fatigue in c/sideeffects · 153 points · 10 months ago
Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.
comment on three years of sulphur burps threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/sideeffects · 60 points · 10 months ago
hair loss is real and usually reversible when you stabilize
comment on my hs-CRP moved and I cannot work out whether gallbladder is why in c/sideeffects · 60 points · 10 months ago
week 16 and the injection-site soreness is finally getting better
Adding to this: heart rate is doing more work than the comment implies.

the sulphur burps passes. i promise. not medical advice.

comment on week 11 check-in — 31kg down, muscle cramps manageable, one thing confusing me in c/retatrutide · 56 points · 11 months ago
retatrutide is not approved anywhere for human use, posts must not read as instructions
comment on [Discussion] the gallbladder advice in here is 17 years out of date in c/sideeffects · 66 points · 11 months ago
Same experience. Week 2 and it simply stopped. I know that is not useful information but it is what happened.
