I read the supplementary appendix so you do not have to. Pre-registration or it is a hypothesis.

Did you actually measure heart rate or is that a feeling?

Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.
comment on reta phase 2 was −24.2% at 48 weeks and people quote it like it is a maintenance number in c/retatrutide · 132 points · 2 days ago
Which is why c/trialwatch requires trial name, phase, n and primary endpoint in the body. It is a slightly annoying rule that removes an entire genre of argument.
comment on [Paper] survodutide MASH data is the most interesting hepatic readout in the class in c/survodutide · 121 points · 2 days ago
Correct flair, correct bar for a hepatic claim. This community requires biopsy data for MASH claims and this is why — imaging and enzymes are proxies and the proxies disagree with histology often enough to matter.

Speculation flair exists precisely so this content can be here and be labelled. The rule is not "no speculation", it is "no speculation dressed as findings".

Phase 2 TRIUMPH looked amazing. Phase 3 trials are harder. Do not anchor on phase 2 readouts.
comment on FLOW got published and nobody in here is talking about eGFR slope in c/trialwatch · 132 points · 2 days ago
Good post, correct flair, publication rather than press release. Stickying for the week. Reminder that Press Release flair is mandatory until a paper exists — we had three threads last quarter arguing about numbers that had never been published.

the dosing is steep, the early fullness reports are real, and nobody knows the human safety yet
comment on walking through what SURMOUNT-4 actually showed about stopping, since it gets misquoted constantly in c/tapering · 143 points · 3 days ago
same pattern with STEP 4, which did something similar with semaglutide, continue vs switch to placebo after a lead-in period, and also showed regain in the switched group. Two separate drugs, same basic message: stopping (abruptly, in both trial designs) predicts regain, that's a well-supported claim. "Therefore tapering slowly is pointless" is the unsupported leap layered on top. edit: originally wrote STEP 1 here, meant STEP 4, wrong number in the trial name, fixed.

This is correct. DEXA is the standard.
comment on [Trial Data] ATTAIN-1 numbers, and why the % is not the headline in c/orforglipron · 57 points · 4 days ago
Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.

Strongly agree. Central appetite is real but people overstate it.

the glucagon component changes the side effect profile, not just the efficacy

Retitled to remove editorialising. Put the evidence in the body.

Three years on this site and the questions have not changed at all. Which is depressing or reassuring depending on the day.

the 1.0mg arm is different from 7.5mg, results do not transfer
