Everyone in c/scamalerts repeats that area percent is important. I believe it, but I have never seen anyone show why, and when I search I get 13 threads of people agreeing with each other.
Is there a paper? Is there a measurement? Or is this one of those things that is true because it has been repeated since 2023?

Adding to this: purity is doing more work than the comment implies.
Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 7–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

Water content was 3.8%, acetate was 6.2%, purity was 99%, but net peptide was only 90% of the label weight. Perfectly honest, just chemistry.
