stalled for 14 weeks at 5mg and I refuse to panic this time

Resolved Well Actually ×9 Slow Clap ×2

Trying to settle this properly because the thread from last year went in circles.

The claim: hair loss matters. The counter-claim: it is measurement error. Both sides have been asserting it confidently for about 10 months without either producing anything.

What would actually settle it is 19 people measuring the same thing the same way. I have started; my numbers are below. They lean one way but not strongly enough for me to declare victory.

If you have data, post the data. If you have an opinion, flair it as an opinion.

hair loss is real and usually reversible when you stabilize

Has anything else changed? Sleep, food, protein, anything?

Yeah, the nausea hit on day 6 for me too, not day 1.

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 25 weeks to accept.

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

Small correction: the trial was 17 weeks, not 40. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Yeah, the constipation hit on day 16 for me too, not day 1.

Not to be pedantic but gallbladder and constipation are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

resting heart rate moved up 20 bpm and settled back down when I stopped escalating

severe abdominal pain is an urgent-care question, not a forum question

Mechanistically the bit that matters is constipation. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.

Are you on a pen or research vial? The formulation changes the profile.

About c/sideeffects

Side-effect experience and management, with a strong bias toward the ones that are common and boring (nausea, constipation, reflux, fatigue, sulphur burps) and a hard line on the ones that are not (severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, vision changes). This community is not a substitute for urgent care and the mods will say so bluntly.

c/sideeffects rules
  1. Severe or escalating abdominal pain is an urgent-care question, not a forum question. We will lock those threads with a pointer to help.
  2. Describe your dose, your week number and your titration speed — otherwise nobody can help.
  3. No diagnosing strangers. Share what happened to you.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
