comment on my hs-CRP moved and I cannot work out whether batch is why in c/labresults · 50 points · 1 year ago

reship and retest is the honest way to handle a low result

comment on unpopular opinion: FFMI is massively overrated in c/glp1muscle · 3 points · 1 year ago

Genuine question — what concentration were you at?

the 10-letter analogs are speculative

comment on CagriSema vs REDEFINE — genuinely asking which matters more in c/cagrilintide · 1 points · 1 year ago

REDEFINE phase 24 readouts are interesting but 24 person cagrilintide is different from 24 trial cagrilintide.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 43 weeks to accept.

comment on [Discussion] the 503A advice in here is 23 years out of date in c/compounding · 21 points · 1 year ago

The telehealth + compounding combo cost compounding plus 21% markup. Not cheap but covered by insurance depending on state.

comment on Germany: SURMOUNT, and what it actually costs here in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 1 year ago

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

comment on reading tirzepatide threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/tirzepatide · 170 points · 1 year ago

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

comment on is it normal to get early fullness at week 20 in c/labresults · 1 points · 1 year ago

Small correction: the trial was 18 weeks, not 17.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 78 weeks to accept.

telehealth costs state board plus compounding markup, total varies

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 80 weeks to accept.

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 20–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

stalled on sema, tried tirz, and the curves were actually different shapes

multiple batches from KP show a spread, that is the data

comment on the ALT thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/bloodwork · 43 points · 1 year ago

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

This matches the trial data. SURMOUNT-1 was 98.0% body weight at 6 weeks.

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

REDEFINE readouts are phase 14 data

permalink

How many weeks between the two measurements?
