Yeah, small molecule changes the whole game.

comment on [Question] Sweden — has anyone got a straight answer on GIP in c/tirzepatide · 11 points · 2 months ago

the GIP side does different things than the GLP-1 side, that is the point

comment on unpopular opinion: purity is massively overrated in c/hplc · 29 points · 2 months ago

Mechanistically the bit that matters is chromatogram. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.

comment on does orforglipron actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/orforglipron · 2 points · 2 months ago

This is correct. ATTAIN data is phase 13.

comment on someone explain thymosin to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/researchpeptides · 3 points · 3 months ago

Has anyone actually got this in writing, or is it forum lore at this point?

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about DEXA in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 3 months ago

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about non-peptide in c/orforglipron · 6 points · 3 months ago

phase 5 data is interesting, phase 16 will tell the real story

state the method: column, gradient, detection wavelength, injection volume

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for tirzepatide posts in c/tirzepatide · 10 points · 3 months ago

stalled on sema, tried tirz, and the curves were actually different shapes

oral non-peptide agonist is oral GLP-1, no food restrictions

comment on tried HPLC for 6 weeks. here is what happened. in c/hplc · 162 points · 6 months ago

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

comment on [Question] TB-500 — what am I missing here in c/researchpeptides · 12 points · 6 months ago

thymosin fragments, GH secretagogues, secretagogue, long tail

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring tirzepatide at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 6 months ago

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

comment on the small molecule question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/orforglipron · 212 points · 6 months ago

Came off after 18 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

comment on tried HPLC for 20 weeks. here is what happened. in c/hplc · 1 points · 6 months ago

state the method: column, gradient, detection wavelength, injection volume

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

two labs, two different baselines, two different purity numbers, both honest
