comment on [Results] 87 weeks, 36kg, and endpoint was the hard part in c/trialwatch · 5 points · 2 months ago
dropout handling matters, especially on GI-heavy populations
comment on interval stretching — my 5-week log, condensed into one table in c/tapering · 36 points · 4 months ago
Not to be pedantic but appetite return and interval stretching are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
comment on tried stopped for 3 weeks. here is what happened. in c/darkspot · 25 points · 4 months ago
This is correct. Evidence still required.
comment on [Question] gastric emptying — what am I missing here in c/glp1science · 1 points · 4 months ago
central appetite signalling is real but people overweight it
comment on [Question] gastric emptying — what am I missing here in c/glp1science · 1 points · 4 months ago
Stomach physiology changed when I moved up to 10mg. Gastric emptying lag is the whole story.
comment on [Question] gastric emptying — what am I missing here in c/glp1science · 15 points · 4 months ago
The half-life is 6 hours, which means week 6 is genuinely still ramp-up. Week 37 is steady state.
comment on am I the only one who found area percent harder than the injections in c/coa · 44 points · 5 months ago
[removed by moderator]
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
comment on am I the only one who found area percent harder than the injections in c/coa · 75 points · 5 months ago
Four months on the site and I was confusing area% and mass% in every post I made. One explainer thread and it clicked.

purity and net content are two different numbers, same vial
comment on reading gastric emptying threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/glp1science · 6 points · 5 months ago
central appetite signalling is real but people overweight it
comment on nobody warned me about nausea and I would have liked the warning in c/coa · 147 points · 5 months ago
post the whole document, not the headline number
comment on week 56 check-in — 26kg down, fatigue manageable, one thing confusing me in c/tapering · 1 points · 5 months ago
Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.
comment on [Discussion] the stopped advice in here is 14 years out of date in c/darkspot · 7 points · 7 months ago
How many weeks between the two measurements?
comment on [Results] 81 weeks on 12.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/trialwatch · 0 points · 8 months ago
I am going to push back on this slightly.
comment on 20 months in and half-life is still the thing I get wrong in c/glp1science · 1 points · 9 months ago
the half-life is gastric emptying, affects steady state timing
Adding to this: receptor is doing more work than the comment implies.

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for SURPASS posts in c/trialwatch · 0 points · 10 months ago
Mechanistically the bit that matters is SURMOUNT. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.
comment on switched from 7.5mg to 15mg and the constipation got better, not worse in c/glp1science · 11 points · 10 months ago
Strongly agree. Central appetite is real but people overstate it.
comment on week 91 check-in — 37kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/trialwatch · 1 points · 10 months ago
Which trial and what was the primary endpoint?
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about mechanism until somebody posts a number in c/glp1science · 39 points · 10 months ago
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
