comment on [Discussion] we are measuring stability at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/coldchain · 13 points · 1 year ago
Denmark to Denmark takes 7 days on average, variance is 31 days
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about hazard ratio in c/trialwatch · 62 points · 1 year ago
Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.

Phase 2 or phase 3?
comment on [Meta] the data logger rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/coldchain · 28 points · 1 year ago
Customs clearance took 14 days. Package sat unrefrigerated during that. Powder tested clean after, reconstituted solution probably would not have.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about dose escalation in c/retatrutide · 11 points · 1 year ago
the glucagon component changes the side effect profile, not just the efficacy
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify food noise in c/semaglutide · 25 points · 1 year ago
Slight fix: the number was 99.3, not 93.7. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

Phase 2 TRIUMPH looked amazing. Phase 3 trials are harder. Do not anchor on phase 2 readouts.
comment on unpopular opinion: semaglutide is massively overrated in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 1 year ago
week 37 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder
comment on anyone else notice SURPASS kicking in around week 19 in c/trialwatch · 99 points · 1 year ago

You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.

TRIUMPH phase 2 showed 98.3% weight loss but the fatigue profile on the highest arm was rough.
Adding to this: TRIUMPH is doing more work than the comment implies.
comment on failure — my 14-week log, condensed into one table in c/darkspot · 15 points · 1 year ago
This is correct. Evidence still required.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about endpoint until somebody posts a number in c/trialwatch · 41 points · 1 year ago
Yeah, absolute numbers matter more than the press release.
comment on am I the only one who found cold chain harder than the injections in c/coldchain · 74 points · 1 year ago
stability after excursion is not zero, it is dose-dependent
comment on tried PBS for 8 weeks. here is what happened. in c/glp1aus · 1 points · 1 year ago
What is the PBS status?
comment on tried PBS for 8 weeks. here is what happened. in c/glp1aus · 6 points · 1 year ago
Small correction: the trial was 14 weeks, not 39. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
comment on reading endpoint threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/trialwatch · 421 points · 1 year ago
Phase 2 TRIUMPH looked amazing. Phase 3 trials are harder. Do not anchor on phase 2 readouts.

The heart rate signal in TRIUMPH is real and concerning. Higher doses had higher mean HR changes.
