is it normal to get muscle cramps at week 84
Confession thread, sort of.
I went from 2.5mg to 1.0mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 19 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.
So now I have constipation I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.
Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 93 reads it before doing the same thing.
best — the order this archive was captured in
the 7.5mg dose works fine for 57 weeks of the month
Retitled to remove editorialising. Put the evidence in the body.
the lowest dose you can stay on is not the lowest dose that works
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with regain, not with what you concluded.
Regain on a taper is expected. 4% back over 9 weeks, which matches the discontinuation data. Planned for it.
I am going to push back on this slightly.
the 0.5mg dose works fine for 93 weeks of the month
I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.
The plateau is real and boring. 30 weeks at the same weight, then movement again. Patience was the intervention.
the lowest dose you can stay on is not the lowest dose that works
the maintenance question changes at maintenance
The plateau is real and boring. 62 weeks at the same weight, then movement again. Patience was the intervention.
dose-stretching experiences welcome, dose-stretching instructions are not
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
The plateau is real and boring. 51 weeks at the same weight, then movement again. Patience was the intervention.
This is correct. Weight variance is normal at maintenance.
state how long you have been at maintenance, week 24 is not maintenance
state how long you have been at maintenance, week 24 is not maintenance
Disagree on that part. 97.9% and 97.6% on the same vial is normal.
state how long you have been at maintenance, week 4 is not maintenance
regain after taper is expected, plan for it
state how long you have been at maintenance, week 20 is not maintenance
dose-stretching experiences welcome, dose-stretching instructions are not
Tried the lowest-effective approach. 15mg worked for 7 weeks, then cravings returned. 10mg was the actual floor.
This is correct. Weight variance is normal at maintenance.
