[Meta] proposal — a flair for dual agonist posts
Confession thread, sort of.
I went from 12.5mg to 5mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 2 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.
So now I have reflux I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.
Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 69 reads it before doing the same thing.
best — the order this archive was captured in
This is correct. Do not generalise from tirzepatide.
Crossposting this to c/bloodwork because the people who need it are not reading this community.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
the heart rate signal is real in the data
hepatic fat and MASH are the story
The thing nobody prepared me for was the quiet. Not the appetite, the quiet. The constant negotiation in my head about food just stopped.
the safety profile is not just tirzepatide amplified
the heart rate signal is real in the data
glucagon co-agonism has a different safety story
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 75 weeks to accept.
This is correct. Do not generalise from tirzepatide.
rodent dual agonist is investigation only
glucagon co-agonism has a different safety story

Adding to this: survodutide is doing more work than the comment implies.
Strongly agree. The safety story is separate.
