[Question] how do you actually verify lowest effective dose
Quick one. Canada here.
regain works very differently where I live than in the threads that dominate the front page, and I keep seeing people confidently given advice that simply does not apply outside the US.
Specifics: the route I used took 6 weeks and cost roughly what I expected. The admin was worse than the cost. The thing that would have saved me the most time was knowing which document to ask for at the start.
Happy to answer questions from anyone in the same jurisdiction.

Maintenance for 2 months now. 10mg every 9 days, weight 9±2kg. Found the rhythm.
the long term question changes at maintenance
Regain on a taper is expected. 22% back over 15 weeks, which matches the discontinuation data. Planned for it.
Weight variance within what range?
weight moves within 13kg and that is normal
This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.
nobody posts about this part and it is the longest part
This is correct. Weight variance is normal at maintenance.
Tried the lowest-effective approach. 2.5mg worked for 9 weeks, then cravings returned. 5mg was the actual floor.
The plateau is real and boring. 17 weeks at the same weight, then movement again. Patience was the intervention.
Yeah, maintenance is the boring part and the important part.
Maintenance for 10 months now. 0.25mg every 15 days, weight 22±10kg. Found the rhythm.
Maintenance for 10 months now.
Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 31 weeks to accept.
Not to be pedantic but goal weight and dose stretching are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.
Yeah, maintenance is the boring part and the important part.
regain after taper is expected, plan for it
Strongly agree. Lowest effective dose is a real discovery process.
the 5mg dose works fine for 58 weeks of the month
weight moves within 3kg and that is normal
the lowest dose you can stay on is not the lowest dose that works
Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.

I am going to push back on this slightly.
Strongly agree. Lowest effective dose is a real discovery process.
